My Story So Far….

First and foremost, welcome to my space. I hope that what ever stage of life you find yourself in, you find safety here in this space.

My name is Tenishia, Im a lifelong Alaskan who (through a series of events beyond my control) has found herself living in the state of Washington.

I wear many hats—wife, mother, teacher, student. But mostly, I’m just a human constantly learning and in the process of becoming everything I was meant to be. Life has been my greatest classroom, and I’ve learned just as much from sleepless nights with my children as I have from textbooks and degrees. At my core, I’m a seeker. I’m always curious, always learning, always trying to grow into a fuller version of myself.

I created this space as a place to share my journey—the messy, beautiful, and real parts of learning to hold space not only for others, but for myself too.

My background in psychology has given me the tools to understand people on a deeper level, but it’s been my own lived experiences—motherhood, burnout, healing, and rebuilding—that truly taught me what it means to listen, to be present, and to hold space, and most importantly – to be available to walk alongside others in their own growth.

Here, I’ll be sharing my story, the lessons that continue to shape me, and the resources that have helped me find my footing. My hope is that as I share, you’ll feel seen and reminded that your story matters too.

If you’ve found your way here, know that this is a space where you can pause, reflect, and just be. You don’t have to have it all figured out—you only have to be open to the journey.
